PixelArt Sokolica

I saw an amazing photo www.deviantart.com/deviation/4… by RaVeN-82 and asked his permission to use it as a model to reproduce it in PixelArt. I thank him very much for his generosity.

I think this is about the most beautiful photo I have ever seen. The capture of the light was remarkable, the colors were amazing and the whole balance of the piece was just perfect.

I found this a very challenging piece to reproduce. It has been worked on over quite some time as most of it was really hard to recreate truthfully and I wanted it to prove worthy of such a fine piece of photography.

No transparencies/reduced opacities were used at all.
The pencil tool and eraser were the only tools used to lay down the colors.
