What an amazing piece of Isometric PixelArt this is! I was blown away when I saw this arrive on dA in my watch list. The work in this is just unbelievable and the sheer beauty just touches my heart like no other.

What is a Gold Nugget Award?

This is a monthly award for a piece of PixelArt uploaded into the PixelArt Gallery during the previous month. I will announce the recipient of the Gold Nugget Award at the beginning of each month. A free 12 month subscription to dA will also come with the Award.

I will be the only judge and it is going to be purely subjective. To be in the running to receive the Gold Nugget Award you will need to be watching me. The work may at some stage get a DD feature or it may not. It may have already been a feature. No work from a current contest challenge I am running will be eligible, for the sake of fairness.

Let me find those little nuggets of gold scattered in the PixelArt gallery.


The Gold Nugget Award for October *FrostTLU

The first ever Gold Nugget Award goes to *FrostTLU for this wonderful piece of Text PixelArt. C64 restrictions, 10 colours. The sheer beauty and gleaming vivacity of colour together with the highly appealing graffiti style, lifted my spirits when I first saw this uploaded in September.
