Gold Nugget Awards

What is a Gold Nugget Award?

This is a monthly award for a piece of PixelArt uploaded into the PixelArt Gallery during the previous month. I will announce the recipient of the Gold Nugget Award on the first or second day of each month. A free 12 month subscription to dA will also come with the Award.

I will be the only judge and it is going to be purely subjective. To be in the running to receive the Gold Nugget Award you will need to be watching me. The work may at some stage get a DD feature or it may not. It may have already been a feature. No work from a current contest challenge I am running will be eligible, for the sake of fairness.

The first Gold Nugget Award will happen this October for a piece of PixelArt uploaded in September.

Let me start finding those little nuggets of gold scattered in the PixelArt gallery.

i have question! if the background is a good pixelart, but there is emote in the deviation, the owner cant have a chance to win?

No...emotes must be in the Icon section under Emoticons. It also may not be an avatar or a Doll either. :)

I hope you throw a few runners-ups pieces in there, Theres much more than just one per month worth seeing at a place like this, but it might be hard to find them.
