Yes guys I am not teasing you, I am retiring as the Gallery Director for the Doll Gallery but I am still going to be the Gallery Director for PixelArt.

Over twelve months ago when I took over the role as Gallery Director for PixelArt, I felt Dolls should have their own Gallery and be separate from PixelArt so that the Dollers with Non PixelArt features and Tool shaded Dolls could all be housed together to become a large community at dA and show off all the awesome work without being lost in the 'Character' section of PixelArt or worse not permitted to upload Dolls into PixelArt as has been the case over the years with Tool Shaded Dolls.

When I asked $Moonbeam13 if we could create a new gallery for Dolls, she asked me who was going to run it, as trying to run two Galleries is too much for one person, I said I would act as caretaker for a few months and then hopefully I could move back and concentrate full time on PixelArt, once Dolls was ticking over happily.

Twelve months later I am still battling on but enough now. It is just too much work and way too time consuming, trying to cope with two Galleries. PixelArt has not had my full attention as it deserves, there is still much work to be done in the PixelArt Community here at dA....plus I really, really want to start creating some more art....I just have not had the time...and I feel like I am starving to death for some creativity.

The obvious question is...who will be the Gallery Director for Dolls now?

For the next little while $Moonbeam13 will be overseeing the Doll Gallery and all DD feature suggestions should now go to $Moonbeam13 as I won't be featuring Dolls from now on.

Dolls have now come of age at dA!

Anyone who wants to have a go at non Doll PixelArt please feel free to add some work to the PixelArt gallery, I am always on the lookout for a DD feature, you will always be most welcome there.
