Just give yourselves time to have a play with this....it is not bad, not bad at all. There has been an unbelievable amount of work done to make this happen.

Here are some positive steps you can take to get a better understanding of what is happening after you have seen the v6 Launch Info. Go and read $lolly's journal [link] then have a look at ^Ikue's Newsletter [link]

I will update this list as needed without spamming you with update notifications, so just keep an eye open for any changes I may make.

I can see it.

Honestly, I remember something quite similar on sheezyart as far as preview images for art are concerned. Now I can easily see what I like or not ... but so do my watchers arrrgh !

I have not gone to the front page yet but as a first impression, it's much information, images + text and I wonder how old computers would react...

All in all, it's a huge update and I'm sure it was an enormous work, it should change life on DA a lot. Just wait a little for us to get used to it- I'll give my second impression too.

I signed on this morning and was like wtheck?!?!?!

So far everything is good. I love the new message center. I don't think I will use all the features to their full extent though.

The only thing wrong I can see(and this is because I'm a pixelartist) is that when i expand a thumbnail when viewing a deviation, the graphics don't look sleek anymore. its just a continuation of the background on the right. also, the edges of the rounded boxes that give the version the appearance of layers are not the same color as the background on which they sit. this doesn't happen on every page. for example it doesn't happen on this one. but on some pages where i view deviations it does.

and thats really really minor. but im a pixelartist. what can i say.

My eyes widened and I slightly jumped upon seeing the changes....

But... As of now, just seeing the message center... It's okay I guess...

I'm adaptable.... I like the thumbnails/previews for the deviations...I think...

I'm sure when I know it like the back of my hand (that's opposite the palm, right? ) then I'll really like it!}
