I am not very happy with this piece but I haven't really done any PixelArt for some time, so I left the PA Galleries to fill with miscats and spent a few hours on trying to create a piece with a summer feel using cold colours for the Pixel-Pax challenge.
The idea is if you live in the southern hemisphere where it is summer you do a summer piece using cold colours, if you are in the northern hemisphere you do a winter scene using hot colours.

I don't think the tree works as it is, i think if it's on the same plane as the couple it may be a good idea to make it a silhouette also. You could also AA the silhouetted ground to the horizon. Nice concept though and good composition.

Well done, and i hate to tell Zac, its 5 colors.
The use of purple and blue would make it exceptionally hard to make it feel summery, but all i'm feeling is winter or perhaps autumn. I had this vague feeling of a closed amusement park or something similar.
