I saw a beautiful photograph of a bridge in Central Park New York, taken by radioPooh. [link]

The textures of the stonework were wonderful and I decided to practice painting stonework in pixel art. radioPooh was generous enough to allow me to use his photograph as a model.

It took me 5 nights to complete, here is the WIP. [link]

Edit:
I have moved this out of PixelArt as much as the process was pure PixelArt by application...there are some hand laid reduced opacities which now is no longer acceptable in PixelArt.

Thanks, I was trying to create a miniature of the photo, so I tried to select as close to the original colors of the photo as I could.
